In Which Cases Can an Application Be Made?

The principles and practices included in the Özyeğin University Prevention of Discrimination and Violence Unit Directive cover all university members; university students, academic and administrative staff, all persons and business employees from whom services are received. Those who believe that they have been subjected to or witnessed discrimination, gender-based violence, sexual harassment, sexual assault and mistreatment at work can apply to the Unit. All University members are responsible for applying to the Unit if they witness violence or abuse against a child or animal by another University member. This applies to both incidents that occur within the University and incidents that occur outside of the University between University members but are carried into the University environment or that affect academic life and the work environment regardless of where they occur.
